Do you have a great story to tell?
Submit an entry to speak at the 2011 TSI User Group Meeting. Primary speakers selected will receive a complimentary registration to attend the full conference as well as 3 complimentary hotel nights at Planet Hollywood Casino & Resort during the conference.
The TSI CAD CAM and EST User Community are most interested in hearing from other users. We are calling for customers to participate by giving a 30-minute presentation at the 2011 User Group Meeting. TSI would like to promote peer-to-peer discussions on topics that would be educational for others in the industry. The topics of most interest are ones in which a business process has been improved with the implementation of TSI software tools and procedures. Suggested topics include:

Spool duct fabrication
Cost tracking via special reports
Implementation of Track-It bar coding
Remote entry ordering
CAD
User of the EST during the detailing process
User FAB product during the coordination process
Case example of using Engineered Autodesk MEP product (AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP)
User of 3D models after detailing (Hyperlinks, 4D, 5D)
Revit interface to FAB-MEP products
EST
Case examples of using 3D estimates to win project in an interview process
Re-estimating CAD drawing from CAD-Duct/CAD-Mech and comparing to the bid estimate
Takeoff methods
New ways for Estimator to communicate the intended estimate through the use of 3D Estimates

Measurement of productivity gains through the use of TSI products
Coordination topics, for example:
Use of AGC 3D coordination contact
How to lead a 3D coordination meeting with 3D tools
