FABmep+ provides MEP contractors using BIM with the features needed to create fabrication level detail models in one offering. A variety of additional features are also now available inside of FABmep+ at no additional cost.
FAB-MEP is a Manufacturing Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool that manages BIM files for fabrication and installation. FAB-MEP supports the complete workflow to manage BIM models created with Revit® MEP, AutoCAD® MEP, CAD-Elec, CAD-Duct, CAD-Mech, Tekla Structures, Bentley Building V8i. To manage non-manufacturing BIM files, FAB-MEP interfaces with several file types. The Design-Line technology can then process MEP files and redraw the systems with real Manufacturing BIM data. Once in FAB-MEP the MEP files can be costed within the integrated databases of EST-Elec, EST-Duct or EST-Mech or further designed with CAD-Elec, CAD-Duct or CAD-Mech.

FAB-MEP also supports the workflow process of managing and extracting manufacturing and installation information contained in FAB-MEP, CAD-Elec, CAD-Duct or CAD-Mech files. FAB-MEP, which eliminates the requirement for the user to know AutoCAD, is preferred by Project Managers, Production Managers, Purchasing Managers, Shop Managers and many CAD Managers for easily extracting information required to manage projects including: Validator conflict reports, JOB-Site Solutions Trimble MEP points, purchasing materials, pre-fabricating spools, duct pickoff for CAM-Duct production, and field installation information.
