TSI, a rapidly growing software company, is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to aid existing and new customers with on-site implementation and training of CAD-Duct and CAM-Duct software. You will employ your CAD and CAM manufacturing experience to help customers implement our first in class CAD CAM software solution for HVAC and mechanical piping and plumbing commercial and light industrial contractors. In this role you will assist the customer in setting up customer standards and train the client's staff. Your key responsibility will be to work closely with TSI developers and existing technical support staff to provide a high level of implementation services.
Tasks essential to this position include:
- Evaluating customer needs and defining expectations of implementation
- Following existing training syllabus and keep the customer focused on the pre-defined implementation goals
- Working with existing support staff and TSI developers to provide resolution to customer issues
- Providing ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Aiding the release process of new versions of TSI products
- Ability to travel 65% to 85% of the time
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years mechanical estimating work experience
- 3-5 years of technical support and/or training experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and CAM systems for HVAC and/or Mechanical/Plumbing
- Extensive computer expertise and the ability to creatively solve problems and determine the root cause of issues
- Ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment
- Ability to tailor content to meet the needs of the client
- Ability to effectively handle multiple critical accounts and manage several customer requests with effective communication to senior management.
- Ability to quickly assimilate complex problems and develop a resolution strategy
