CAD-Mech is an Autodesk® based 3rd party software package designed to work within Autodesk® Building Systems 2007. Spec driven system selects the correct pipe, fitting and valves based on the service Chilled Water (CHW) with a specification that is 1/4" thru 2-1/2" Copper fitting and 3" thru 24" STD Carbon Steel Butt Welded as the draft person choose a 2" CHW pipe and clicks on the icon ( ) CAD-Mech will automatically select CxC 90 Ell.
CAD-Mech is a 3D drafting & modeling application for AutoCAD based products that facilitates detailing of a highly accurate & realistic building services model. CAD-Mech is ideal for use in an integrated single model environment as well as for creating 3D overlays on an architectural drawing.
CAD-Mech for Piping and Plumbing Detailing now offers seamless integration with VERNON TOOL WinMPM pipe cutting software. CAD-Mech includes semi-automatic spool generation and direct download to the industries leading pipe fabrication cutting tool. Direct download from CAD-Mech to VERNON TOOL offers elimination of double-entry and input errors. CAD-Mech & CAD-Duct HVAC Detailing software, can make use of the same networkable database, so both Piping and Ductwork can work simultaneously in the same AutoCAD Based drawing.
