Detailing Software for HVAC Duct Design & Coordination
CAD-Duct is an industry standard, Autodesk® add-on that brings intelligent, 3-dimensional HVAC fittings into the Design/ Build Environment, programmed with True ARX Technology for AutoCAD and AutoCAD MEP 2009, 2010, 2011 (both 32-bit and 64-bit).
CAD-Duct offers seamless integration with our manufacturing software, CAM-Duct, and makes use of the same seam, connector and specification databases and fitting libraries to ensure smooth and easy manufacture of drawings.
Unlike some other competitive CAD packages on the market, CAD-Duct generates drawing files that can be directly opened within CAM-Duct manufacturing (nesting) modules rather than being ‘converted’.
Being Autodesk® based, architectural drawings made with Autodesk® products can be directly loaded and then ‘overlaid’ with the HVAC fittings as required. Being 3-dimensional, ‘collisions’ and ‘conflicts’ can easily be flagged and identified.
