CAD-Duct is an Autodesk® based 3rd party software package which uses our cutting software knowledge, providing all of your ductwork libraries right within Autodesk® Building Systems 2007. In fact, our cutting software (CAM-Duct) and CAD-Duct share the same database. As a result of using a single database, CAD-Duct provides 100% accurate downloading from CAD to your cutter. If you can cut it with the plasma cutting software, you can draw and download it in CAD-Duct.
CAD-Duct is a 3D drafting & modeling application for AutoCAD based products that facilitate the detailing of a highly accurate & realistic building services model. CAD-Duct is ideal for use in an integrated single model environment as well as for creating 3D overlays on an architectural drawing.
Originally developed for use in the HVAC sector CAD-Duct has evolved to encompass the complete range of services required for today's construction industry, where it has rapidly become the modeling and fabrication application of choice.
Written by M.A.P. and supported by MAP Customer Care, LLC a sub division of TSI in the US, CAD-Duct provides "Ready to Draw" libraries of Fittings and Equipment for Ductwork, Electrical Containment & Structural design. The libraries, represented by M.A.P.'s own range of highly flexible & efficient 3D Parametric Solid Objects, operate uniformly via a consistent user interface guaranteeing cross-discipline conformity of operation.
